Fire and Water
POSTPONED: Thurs, Dec 15 | Interactive panel discussion
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM ET
About the Event
The changing climate is reshaping the balance of fire and water in eastern ecosystems. Drought alters soil structure and stability; combined with intense rainfall, this impacts hydrologic dynamics. Moderator Stephanie Laseter and panelists Randy Kolka, James Vose, and others will explore the interconnections between fire, nutrient cycling, ecohydrology, and climate change.
"Fire and Water" was scheduled for December 15, 2022. However, due to winter weather and illness, we will reschedule the discussion. Details to come. Thanks for your understanding.
