NAFSE Student Volunteer Program

NAFSE Summer Student Opportunity​

The North Atlantic Fire Science Exchange (NAFSE) will be offering a student volunteer position available during summer 2026. This is an unpaid position open to students who have successfully completed their first year of collegiate study majoring in a fire or forestry program or a related field.
We have a variety of projects to work on and will match the chosen candidate with a project that best fits their skills and interests. The student will also gain valuable knowledge of NAFSE as it relates to the roles, responsibilities, and approaches in science communications, attain a greater sense of the needs and issues in fire science and management, and how NAFSE operates within the Joint Fire Science Program’s Fire Science Exchange Network.
